Welcome to L.A. Dance!!

"Where Everyone Is A Star!"

Voted "Best Dance Studio in Oakland County" by the readers of the Oakland Press 3 Years In A Row!

Mission Statement

Our mission at L.A. Dance is to instill in our students self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-discipline. To provide quality instruction in the performing arts. To teach students not only how to set goals, but how to achieve them. To not only create strong performers, but strong individuals.

L. A. Dance has been recognized as one of the TOP 50 STUDIOS IN THE NATION according to "Dance Spirit" and "Dance Teacher" Magazines!

L.A. Dance offers Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Swing, Clogging, Hip-Hop, Latin, Lyrical, Pointe, Ballroom, Show Choir, Private Voice Lessons, Gymnastics and Cheer. Classes are offered for ages three to adult. We have recreational, pre-competitive, and competitive, instruction. Our well- trained instructors are continually attending workshops to continue their dance education and stay current with the latest steps.

At L.A. Dance we teach more than just dance. We develop self-esteem and confidence in all our students as we work together in a team environment. Whether it is a recreational or competitive class, students will learn to work together and how to perform in front of an audience.

Auditions are mandatory for students interested in competitive dance who are not currently enrolled through L. A. Dance. Students who are already enrolled will be recommended by their instructors. Auditions will be held every summer in June. Competitive teams will compete regionally and nationally in tap and jazz dance. Ballet, Tap and Jazz are mandatory for competition classes.

Note: Competition requires a strong commitment from not only the student, but families as well. Please see the Competition Policies and Procedures Manual for additional information.

I don't want people who want to dance, I want people who have to dance."
